Mad Norwegian Press is proud to announce the forthcoming publication of Ahistory — its foundational Doctor Who work, as written by Lance Parkin and Lars Pearson.

Ahistory Fourth Edition, almost undoubtedly the largest timeline to Doctor Who ever written, will be published as three volumes…

  • Volume 1: September 18, 2018
  • Volume 2: December 4, 2018
  • Volume 3: March 12, 2019

Ahistory now incorporates nearly 2,500 Doctor Who-related stories (the TV show, the books, the audios, the comics and much more) onto a single timeline, from the beginning of the Universe and working its way forward to the universe’s heat death. This Fourth Edition of Ahistory includes Doctor Who titles up through the end of 2017 (the finale of the twelfth Doctor era, with Twice Upon a Time), as well as a host of spin-offs (Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures, Class and more).

Cumulatively, Ahistory is now well over a million words.

The three volumes range from 448 to 482 oversized pages each. Each will retail for $29.95. A full list of the titles being included in Ahistory will be available before publication of Volume 1.

Readers can pre-order the new Ahistory direct from the publisher (and receive additional perks) on Patreon, at the newly launched Patreon.com/madnorwegian. The Patreon pre-orders are ideal for US customers, with tip jars available for overseas readers who wish to support Mad Norwegian’s lunatic books.

Otherwise, Ahistory Fourth Edition is up for preorder on the likes of Amazon and Barnes & Noble. In the UK, it’s best attainable from Amazon UK and Forbidden Planet.

There will be no digital version of Ahistory Fourth Edition for at least two years after publication, possibly more.
