What is a novel reference guide, and (more importantly) why should I care?
A science-fiction reference guide is pretty much a dictionary for nerds, detailing relevant story summaries, character development, ass-whuppings and much, much more. With a sci-fi reference guide, readers/viewers can learn about novels or TV episodes that they've missed, can't find or need a refresher course on, then enjoy new stories with the dazzling confidence of a Fullbright Scholar.
For example, our "Doctor Who" original novel series guides (I, Who and I, Who 2) detail everything you could want to know about the Doctor's novel adventures. Prime Targets indexes loads of factual nuggets and story guides on Transformers™, Beast Wars™, and Beast Machines™ TV and comic series.
But just because they have the word 'reference' in them doesn't mean they're not fun! We're writing them because no one else ever has. And because deep inside, we are all money-grubbing freakazoids. No, just kidding. It's just that we're really ambitious nerds.
